Beyond the Scoreboard: Where Health Meets Wealth
is a free, large-scale community impact event presented by the
Ogden Family Foundation in partnership with UNLV.
The event brings together healthcare providers, financial
institutions, nonprofit organizations, educators, businesses,
and community partners to connect UNLV students, individuals,
and families throughout Southern Nevada with valuable resources,
services, education, and opportunities.
Beyond the Scoreboard combines
health and wellness, financial empowerment, education,
workforce development, and community resources
in one engaging community experience.
Featured programming includes a
Health & Wellness Fair,
health screenings and wellness resources,
mental health and community services,
financial literacy workshops
covering topics such as budgeting, credit building,
saving and investing, homeownership, and entrepreneurship,
a Community Resource Fair,
educational and workforce resources,
youth and family activities,
community give-back initiatives,
and a Charity Basketball Game.
The goal of Beyond the Scoreboard is to create healthier,
stronger, and more financially empowered communities by
connecting people directly with organizations and resources
that can make a lasting impact.
