James Hunt

James E. Hunt was born on September 6th, to Dr. James Edward and Leatrice Earnestine Hunt. He is one of seven children. He attended the local public schools, graduating from Beacon High School in the summer of 1965. James Hunt enlisted in the military in 1965 and served until 1969 receiving a honorable discharge. James Hunt enrolled and attended Laramie Community College in 1970. While there, he studied Carpentry and obtained certification as a Journeyman Finished Carpenter. James Hunt eventually relocated to Las Vegas in 1981 and continued to work in construction as a carpenter. James Hunt eventually became involved in the Health Services Division of Clark County. James Hunt completed two years of Drug and Alcohol Counseling education and became a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Counselors in 2005. He is currently with Community Outreach Medical Center, (a Non Profit medical
facility) where he services in the capacity as one of the officers of the Non Profit and an Outreach Coordinator.
